R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-130
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE H ENNEPIN C OUNTY C ONSORTIUM
C OOPERATIVE F UNDING A GREEMENT FOR F AIR H OUSING
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, Minnesota (“City”) is a recipient of Community Block Grant
(CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”); and
WHEREAS, as a condition of utilizing Community Development Block Grant funds, HUD requires
the City to participate in fair housing activities; and
WHEREAS, the City participates in the Hennepin County Consortium of entitlement cities with
Hennepin County acting as the lead for the Consortium; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has agreed to serve as contract manager and fiscal agent for work
contracted through the Cooperative Funding Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to submit funding from its CDBG program to Hennepin County for fair
housing activities as part of the Annual Action Plan submitted to HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Cooperative Funding Agreement Hennepin County Consortium Fair Housing
Activities for the Community Development Block Grant between the City of Plymouth and Hennepin
County is approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 11th day of April, 2017.
