R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-115
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING L ICENSE A GREEMENT WITH W EST L UTHERAN
H IGH S CHOOL FOR USE OF S PORTS F IELD
WHEREAS, West Lutheran High School (3350 Harbor Lane) and the City have a license
agreement for the grass sports field located on their property; and
WHEREAS, the license agreement was initiated on September 4, 1996 and expired on
September 1, 2016; and
WHEREAS, City staff have been working with West Lutheran High School to create a new
agreement for the continued joint usage of the site. The general terms of the agreement address shared
use and scheduling, maintenance, insurance, and rules and regulations of the sport field; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement is May 1, 2017 through May 1, 2037; and
WHEREAS, West Lutheran High School has reviewed and agreed to the license agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the License Agreement (May 1, 2017 – May 1, 2037) between West Lutheran High
School and the City is approved for the shared use, scheduling and maintenance of the grass sports field
located at 3350 Harbor Lane North.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of March, 2017.
