C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-100
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING R EQUEST FOR P ROPOSALS
FOR AN A LL F LASH S TORAGE A RRAY
WHEREAS, the City utilizes a hybrid storage array to operate over 65 virtual servers; and
WHEREAS, this type of array allows storage centralization and redundancies with replication but
is at its end of life and is scheduled for replacement in 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is interested in replacing this system with an all flash array;
WHEREAS, this replacement is included in the 2017 Information Technology budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Request for Proposals and the distribution of the Request for Proposals is
approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th day of March, 2017.
