R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-098
R ESOLUTION A WARDING THE C ONTRACT FOR THE
2017 S ANITARY S EWER L INING P ROJECT (SS179001.001)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2017 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. out of Chesterfield, MO is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Insituform Technologies USA,
Inc. out of Chesterfield, MO.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. out of Chesterfield, MO in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the 2017 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of
$790,065.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funding for this project shall be from the Sewer Fund in the
amount of $829,568.25.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th day of March, 2017.
