HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2017-088 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-088 R ESOLUTION TO R ESCIND A P ORTION OF R ESOLUTION 85-869 AND A UTHORIZE P ARKING ON THE E AST S IDE OF A NNAPOLIS L ANE FROM I NDUSTRIAL P ARK TH B OULEVARD TO 24 A VENUE WHEREAS, a request has been submitted by Paul Meyer of Paul Meyer Architects, Inc. on behalf of Daikin Applied Americas, Inc. who owns the property at 13600 Industrial Park Boulevard requesting th parking be allowed on the east side of Annapolis Lane between Industrial Park Boulevard and 24 Avenue; and WHEREAS, Daikin Applied Americas is planning to expand their facility and is requesting additional parking adjacent to their property along the east side of Annapolis Lane; and WHEREAS, staff finds that parking on the east side of Annapolis Lane between Industrial th Park Boulevard and 24 Avenue would not create traffic concerns and would provide additional parking to serve the immediate area. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby rescinds a portion of Resolution 85-869 and authorizes parking on the east th side of Annapolis Lane between Industrial Park Boulevard and 24 Avenue with the following exceptions where “No Parking” signs would be required: 140 feet north of Industrial Park Boulevard; 20 feet north of the two northern driveways and south of the north driveway; 10 feet south of the middle driveway; th and 40 feet south of 24 Avenue. FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the owner shall furnish and install the necessary “No Parking” signs to delineate areas of no parking and that pavement markings to denote parking stalls are not allowed.
