R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-082
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P URCHASE
OF O NE R EPLACEMENT P ICKUP,
T WO R EPLACEMENT O NE T ON P ICKUPS,
O NE N EW P ICKUP AND O NE N EW O NE T ON C HASSIS
WHEREAS, the approved 2017-2021 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Central Equipment
budget include funds for replacing one pickup (Unit #568) and two one tons (Units #562 and #585);
WHEREAS, the approved 2014 General Fund Surplus include funds for an additional pickup and
one ton with dump box;
WHEREAS, the City may make purchases off the State of Minnesota contracts; and
WHEREAS, Midway Ford has a contract with the state for pickups and one tons meeting
the city’s specifications, Contracts #109287 and #109281 respectively
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase of two current model pickups and three one ton chassis from Midway
Ford for $172,098.00 is hereby approved.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, funding shall be as follows:
$103,379 Central Equipment Budget (600-70-760-76001-8100.500)
$68,719 General Fund Surplus (400-90-940-94000-8100.500)
APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of February, 2017.
