R ESOLUTION D ESIGNATING A C ONSULTING E NGINEERING F IRM FOR U PDATING
THE W ATER S UPPLY AND D ISTRIBUTION P LAN AND S ANITARY S EWER
P LAN C HAPTERS OF THE 2040 C OMPREHENSIVE P LAN (2016038)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is preparing its 2040 Comprehensive Plan in accordance with state
law, and is required to update the water supply and distribution plan and sanitary sewer plan chapters
of the Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals was sent to qualified engineering firms with experience in
updating water and sewer plans; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received and evaluated by City staff; and
WHEREAS, staff finds that the proposal submitted by SEH (Short Elliot Hendrickson Inc.) addresses
the required elements in the request for proposals, and therefore, recommends that SEH be designated
as the consulting engineer for this work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that SEH is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for updating the Water Supply and
Distribution Plan and Sanitary Sewer Plan Chapters of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council on this 14th day of February, 2017.
