R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE I NSTALLATION OF A LL-W AY S TOP C ONTROL WITH
R EFLECTORIZED P OSTS, O VERSIZED S IGNS, “A LL W AY” P LAQUES, A DVANCE S TOP A HEAD
S IGNS AND A C ROSSWALK A T THE I NTERSECTION OF 59 TH A VENUE AND D UNKIRK L ANE
AND THE I NSTALLATION OF A C ROSSWALK AND A LL A PPROPRIATE S IGNAGE AT THE
I NTERSECTION OF 54 TH A VENUE AND 55 TH A VENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council established a subcommittee to review traffic concerns in northwest
Plymouth, and;
WHEREAS, the subcommittee recommendations were presented to and approved by the City
Council on January 24, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that installation of all-way stop control with reflectorized posts, oversized signs, “All Way”
plaques, advance stop ahead signs and a crosswalk at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Dunkirk Lane
and the installation of a crosswalk and all appropriate signage at the intersection of 54th Avenue and
55th Avenue is approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th day of February, 2017.
