R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-056
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A B ILLING A DJUSTMENT
FOR THE P ONDEROSA S TREET R ECONSTRUCTION P ROJECT (16008)
WHEREAS, the 2016-2020 Capital Improvement Program included the Ponderosa Street
Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, the contractor experienced a series of delays for which the affected property owners
have requested financial relief; and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the project, staff negotiated 16 days of liquidated damages for
the contractor which reduced the contract value by $48,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the that the City Manager is instructed to provide a $1,000 per property billing
adjustment to all properties assessed for this project.
