R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-047
R ESOLUTION D ESIGNATING THE E NGINEER FOR THE 2040 C OMPREHENSIVE P LAN
U PDATE – T RANSPORTATION P LAN C HAPTER (2016038)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is preparing its 2040 Comprehensive Plan in accordance with state
law and is required to complete a transportation element for the plan; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals was sent to seven qualified engineering firms that have
expertise in transportation planning; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received and evaluated by City staff; and
WHEREAS, staff finds that the proposal submitted by SRF Consulting Group, Inc. addresses the
required elements in the request for proposal and therefore recommends that SRF Consulting Group,
Inc. be designated consulting engineer for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that:
SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for completing the
Transportation Plan Chapter of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council on this 24th day of January, 2017.
