R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-039
R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING THE V IOLENT C RIME E NFORCEMENT T EAMS
G RANT A GREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE
N ORTHWEST M ETRO D RUG T ASK F ORCE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is acting as the financial agent for the Northwest Drug
Task Force (NWDTF); and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth submitted an application for the Violent Crime
Enforcement Teams (VCET) grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety,
Commissioner of Public Safety, Office of Justice Programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth was awarded a VCET grant agreement in the amount of
$76,500 for the 2017 operating year; and
WHEREAS, the grants do not require a matching dollar amount by the financial agent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the VCET grant agreement in the amount of $76,500 is approved.
