R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-035
R ESOLUTION R ECEIVING E NGINEERING P ROPOSALS A ND D ESIGNATING T HE
C ONSULTING E NGINEER F OR CSAH 24 R ECONSTRUCTION AND E XPANSION AND M ILL AND
O VERLAY (H ENNEPIN C OUNTY P ROJECT N O. 9617 AND C ITY P ROJECT N O. 5122)
WHEREAS, the CSAH 24 Reconstruction and Expansion and Mill and Overlay Project is listed in
the 2017-2021 Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to eight engineering firms that have expertise in
construction management; and
WHEREAS, four proposals were received and evaluated by City staff; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that SRF Consulting Group, Inc. be designated as the consulting
engineer for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for
construction management for the CSAH 24 Reconstruction and Mill and Overlay Project, Hennepin
County Project No. 9617, City Project No. 5122 in the amount of $268,158.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to sign the
Professional Services Agreement.
