R ESOLUTION A PPROVING R EQUEST FOR P AYMENT N O. 3 AND F INAL
C REEKSIDE T RUNK W ATER M AIN AND R AW W ATER M AIN R EPLACEMENT
B ETWEEN W ELLS 4 AND 6 (14021 AND 14033)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner and Ellingson Drainage Inc. as the contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the Creekside Trunk Water Main and Raw Water Main Replacement
between Wells 4 and 6 (14021 and 14033), said agreement was approved by the City Council on
April 28, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $423,910.90 and that the value of the work to date is
$427,536.93 and is herewith approved. The final contract amount is $3,626.03 or 0.86% above
the original contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Creekside Trunk Water Main and Raw
Water Main Replacement between Wells 4 and 6 and certified to the Council by the engineer
as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the
conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $21,376.85 to Ellingson Drainage Inc.
for the Creekside Trunk Water Main and Raw Water Main Replacement between Wells 4 and
6 is hereby approved and the Administrative Services Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith.
4. Funding for this project will be through the Water Fund in the amount of $448,913.78.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of January, 2017.
