R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING P AYMENT FOR 2017 M EMBERSHIP D UES FOR
B ASSETT C REEK W ATERSHED M ANAGEMENT C OMMISSION,
E LM C REEK W ATERSHED M ANAGEMENT C OMMISSION,
AND S HINGLE C REEK W ATERSHED M ANAGEMENT C OMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is party to a joint powers agreement with the Bassett Creek, Elm
Creek, and Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commissions; and
WHEREAS, the watershed commissions membership dues were included in the 2017
Budget as approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, financing will come from the Water Resources Fund in the amount of
$224,531.00 for the Bassett Creek Watershed, $18,664.42 for the Elm Creek Watershed, and
$56,181.41 for the Shingle Creek Watershed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The City Council authorizes payment of membership dues for the Bassett Creek, Elm Creek,
and Shingle Creek Watersheds totaling $299,376.83.
2. Funding shall be from the Water Resources Fund.
