R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-019
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A PUD G ENERAL P LAN A MENDMENT FOR W ALL S IGNAGE AT
T HE A XIS A PARTMENTS L OCATED AT 350 N ATHAN L ANE (2016087)
WHEREAS, Kaas Wilson Architects has requested approval of a PUD general plan amendment for
property legally described as Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Homestead Village Incorporated, Hennepin County,
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the request by Kaas Wilson Architects for a PUD
amendment, subject to the following conditions:
1. A PUD general plan amendment is approved to allow wall signage for The Axis Apartments,
according to the application and materials received by the city on October 10 and 31, 2016,
except as amended by this resolution.
2. Prior to installation of the signs, the applicant shall obtain the applicable sign permits.
3. The property shall be limited to one freestanding sign consistent with section 21155 of the
zoning ordinance.
4. Signs may be illuminated as allowed in section 21155 of the zoning ordinance and shall be
equipped with a mechanism that automatically adjusts the brightness to ambient lighting
conditions.
5. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per
ordinance provisions.
