R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C ONTRACT A MENDMENT WITH WSB & A SSOCIATES
FOR C ONSTRUCTION S ERVICES
FOR P EONY L ANE N ORTH OF S CHMIDT L AKE R OAD (10015)
WHEREAS, the Peony Lane/Lawndale Lane Extension project is listed in the 2014-2018
Capital Improvement Program at an estimated total cost of $12.8M; and
WHEREAS, the City has an existing contract with WSB & Associates for professional
engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the existing contract did not contemplate construction continuing into 2016
therefor the agreement had a completion date of December 31, 2015; and
WHEREAS, staff believes additional compensation is due to WSB & Associates for work
performed in 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the existing Supplemental Agreement for Professional
Engineering Services with WSB & Associates is amended to include an additional $40,690 for
work performed in 2016 and the completion date is extended to December 31, 2016.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funding for this project shall be from the Municipal
State Aid (MSA) Fund, MSA Fund advances, Utility Trunk Fund, Street Reconstruction Fund and
the City of Maple Grove.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of December, 2016.
