C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-358
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE C ONTRACT FOR
D ESIGN/B UILD S ERVICES FOR R EFURBISHING THE
Z ACHARY W ATER T OWER (15003)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the State of Minnesota Statute that allows for Design/Build contracts for
water tank maintenance, and;
WHEREAS, SEH Design/Build Inc. and KLM Engineering, Inc. have submitted proposals for Design
Build Services for refurbishing the Zachary Water Tower, and;
WHEREAS, the SHE Design/Build Inc. proposal has been determined to be the preferred
proposal, and;
WHEREAS, SEH Design/Build Inc.’s partners have successfully completed tank rehabilitation
projects in Plymouth and surrounding communities.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the Design /Build Services with SEH Design/Build Inc. for refurbishing the Zachary Water
Tower.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the
Water Fund in the amount of $1,581,250 annualized over 5 years.
