HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2016-288 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-288 R ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING R ENEWAL OF M ULTI-A GENCY L AW E NFORCEMENT J OINT P OWERS A GREEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE M INNESOTA I NTERNET C RIMES A GAINST C HILDREN T ASK F ORCE WHEREAS, Minnesota has an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that is coordinated by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA); and WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth is concerned about the exploitation of children and continues to investigate these crimes; and WHEREAS, participation in the Task Force has a significant benefit to the community and provides personnel with specialized training and equipment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the resolution authorizing the approval of renew a Multi-Agency Law Enforcement Joint Powers Agreement to participate in the Minnesota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is approved.
