C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-287
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING P URCHASE OF A TMOSPHERIC
G AS M ONITORS FROM THE R ESOURCE P LANNING F UND
WHEREAS, the Fire Department is in need of replacing two atmospheric gas monitors at a cost of
$4,318.08; and
WHEREAS, these replacements are needed to assist in the detection of hazardous substances
and replace out of date technology of current monitors; and
WHEREAS, a Community Partnership Grant was received from CenterPoint Energy in the amount
of $2,135 to assist in funding this purchase, and
WHEREAS, the remaining balance of $2,183.08 will come from the Resource Planning Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the purchase of two atmospheric gas monitors is approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of September, 2016.
