R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-286
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P LANS AND S PECIFICATIONS AND O RDERING
A DVERTISEMENT FOR B IDS FOR THE
S UNSET H ILLS L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION (16006)
WHEREAS, the City’s Engineering Consultant, WSB & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans
and specifications for the rehabilitation of a lift station at 12915 Sunset Trail and has presented
such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City Engineer’s office
and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The Consulting Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in Finance and Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published two times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids
will be received by the City Clerk until 11:00 a.m. on October 6, 2016 at which time
they will be publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City
Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City
Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of September, 2016.
