HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2016-285 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-285 R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING U TILITIES FOR C ONTINUAL M AINTENANCE FOR M APLE C REEK M EADOWS 2 ND A DDITION (2016007) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated April 12, 2016, Lawndale 47, LLC, developer of Maple Creek Meadows 2nd Addition (2016007), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the required financial guarantee to reflect the completed work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the financial guarantee requirements are reduced as follows below and that the required financial guarantee and Letter of Credit No. 350 for the items be reduced from $329,401 to $126,181: Original New Item Amount Amount Street Construction 128,340 64,170 Sanitary Sewer 63,503 15,876 Watermain 48,200 12,050 Storm Sewer System 30,533 7,633 Boulevard Sod & Silt Fence 3,160 3,160 Removal of Temp Cul-De-Sac 2,000 0 Sidewalk Improvements 13,390 6,695 Street Lighting 7,875 0 Erosion Control 3,000 2,250 Setting Iron Monuments 5,000 5,000 Subtotal $305,001 $116,834 Design, Administration, Inspection, As- Builts(8%) $24,400 $9,347 Total $329,401 $126,181 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the utilities are accepted for continuous maintenance as of September 13, 2016, subject to the two-year guarantee by the Developer per Letter of Credit No. 350. APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of September, 2016.
