R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-268
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING R ENEWED L EASE A GREEMENT WITH
N EW C INGULAR W IRELESS PCS, LLC, FOR L A C OMPTE P ARK AT 10795 O LD
C OUNTY R OAD 15
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a policy statement regarding the use
of City owned land for wireless telecommunication antennas and towers; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, d/b/a
AT&T, to renew a lease for space on a monopole with limited ground space for communication
equipment located at 10795 Old County Road 15; and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney
which would allow New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC to mount communication equipment on a
monopole with limited ground equipment in La Compte Park, 10795 Old County Road 15; and
WHEREAS, New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC has been a tenant on this site since
September 5, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the lease agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, for the
mounting of communication equipment on an existing monopole and limited ground equipment
at LaCompte Park located at 10795 Old County Road 15 is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign said
agreement.
