R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-260
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE V ACATION OF P ONDING AND S TREET AND U TILITY
E ASEMENTS WITHIN C AMELOT N INE AT B EGIN
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for August 9, 2016, in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of August 9, 2016; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 9, 2016 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of Ponding and street and utility easements within Camelot
Nine at Begin; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the following ponding and street and utility easements be vacated:
Ponding Easement No. 1
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 118, Range
22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as beginning at the northwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees
42 minutes 09 seconds East, along the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter a distance of 685.29 feet; thence South 42 degrees 34 minutes 07 seconds West a
distance of 275.48 feet; thence North 86 degrees 24 minutes 38 seconds West a distance of
211.88 feet; thence North 65 degrees 49 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of 204.69 feet;
thence North 42 degrees 39 minutes 04 seconds West a distance of 148.67 feet to the point
beginning.
Ponding Easement No. 2
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of section 3, Township 118, Range
22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the northwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; (for orientation of the bearings in this description,
the north line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter has an assumed bearing of
South 89 degrees 32 minutes 09 seconds East); thence South 33 degrees 36 Minutes 16 seconds
East a distance of 352.14 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 79 degrees 23 minutes 01
seconds East a distance of 154.50 feet; thence South 57 degrees 53 minutes 39 seconds East a
distance of 76.62 feet; thence South 22 degrees 08 minutes 02 seconds East a distance of 57.42
feet; thence South 56 degrees 20 minutes 32seconds West a distance of 89.97 feet; thence South
06 degrees 16 minutes 55 seconds West a distance of 66.78feet; thence South 59 degrees 12

Minnesota, described as commencing at the southeast corner of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section 3; thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 58 seconds West
assumed bearing, a distance of 284.50 along the south line of the Northwest Quarter of said
Southwest Quarter to the point of beginning; thence continuing North 89 degrees 49 minutes 58
seconds West a distance of 54.49 feet along said south line of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter; thence North 47 degrees 12 minutes 32 seconds West a distance of 98.96
feet; thence North 26 degrees 09 minutes 16 seconds East a distance of 212.04 feet; thence North
87 degrees 23 minutes 11 seconds East a distance of 101.95 feet; thence North 63 degrees 41

Minnesota described as commencing at the southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of said
Southwest Quarter of Section 3; thence North 0 degrees 14 minutes 15 seconds West, assumed
bearing, a distance of 338.93 feet along the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter; thence North 86 degrees 59 minutes 27 seconds East a distance of 44.92 feet to the point
of beginning; thence South 86 degrees 59 minutes 27 minutes West a distance of 50.42 feet;
thence North 42 degrees 54 minutes 49 seconds West a distance of 111.31 feet; thence North 37
degrees 02 degrees 39 seconds East a distance of 86.22 feet; thence South 68 degrees 07 minutes
57 seconds East a distance of 125.07 feet; thence South 6 degrees 09 minutes 15 seconds East a
distance of 69.22 feet; thence South 58 degrees 46 minutes 14 minutes West a distance of 58.93

Ponding Easement No. 5
That part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3,
Township 118, Range, 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the
northwest corner of said North Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
3; thence South 0 degrees 14 minutes 15 seconds East, assumed bearing, a distance of 46.72 feet
along the west line of said North Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter to the
point of beginning; thence North 80 degrees 29 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 154.12 feet;
thence South 54 degrees 26 minutes 11 seconds East a distance of 120.45 feet; thence South 37
degrees 28 minutes 23 seconds West a distance of 220.55 feet; thence South 9 degrees 08
minutes 06 seconds West a distance of 91.99 feet; thence South 9 degrees 17 minutes 02 seconds

Ponding Easement No. 6
That part of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the point of
intersection of the north line of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 3 and the westerly right of way line of Interstate Highway No. 494 as described in final
certificate no. 4040272; thence south along said westerly right line, a distance of 207.80 feet along
a curve concave easterly having a central angle of 0 degrees 57 minutes 13 seconds, a radius of
12485.01 feet, a chord of 207.80 and a chord bearing of South 6 degrees 48 minutes 40 seconds
West, assumed bearing to the point of beginning; thence North 84 degrees 11 minutes 12 seconds
West, a distance of 90.00 feet; thence South 3 degrees 16 minutes 02 seconds West a distance of
518.00; thence South 86 degrees 43 minutes 58 seconds East a distance of 90.00 feet to said
westerly right of way line; thence north along said westerly right of way line to the point of
beginning.
Street and Utility Easement
A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under and across the west 40.00 feet
of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 118, Range 22,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Together with a permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under and across said
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter;
thence northerly along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter,
a distance of 215 feet; thence southeasterly to a point on the southerly line of said
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, distant 215 feet easterly of said southwest
corner; thence westerly along said southerly line, 215 feet to the point of beginning.
FURTHER, that the recording of the vacation resolution shall be accomplished with, but
prior to the recording of Camelot Nine at Begin.
FURTHER, that said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person, corporation, or
municipality owning or controlling the electric or telephone poles and lines, gas lines, sanitary and storm
sewer lines, water pipes, mains, hydrants, and natural drainage areas thereon or thereunder, to
continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain,
repair, replace, remove, or otherwise attend thereof.
