R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-231
A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR Z ONING O RDINANCE T EXT A MENDMENTS TO
S UPPORT T EXT RELATED TO M EDICAL C ANNABIS (2015080)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is considering text amendments that address where and under
what standards Medical Cannabis facilities can operate in the city; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said amendments at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does the following:
1. Approve zoning ordinance text amendments related to the regulation of Medical Cannabis,
based on the finding that the proposed amendments would be consistent with the city’s
comprehensive plan and with the city’s ordinances and policies.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of July, 2016.
