R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C HANGE O RDER N O.1 AND
P AYMENT N O. 2 AND F INAL
FOR THE K INGSWOOD F ARM L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION (14009)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner, and Minger Construction, Inc. as contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the Kingswood Farm Lift Station Rehabilitation, City Project 14009, which
said agreement was approved by the City Council on May 27, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the final request
for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $334,275. Change Order No. 1 is in the amount of
$10,395 bringing the new contract amount to $344,670 and the value of work to date is
$344,670 and is herewith approved.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Kingswood Farm Lift Station
Rehabilitation and certified to the City Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the
same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance
bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Change Order No.1 and Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $43,140 to
Minger Construction, Inc. for the Kingswood Farm Lift Station Rehabilitation project is
hereby approved and the City’s Administrative Service Director is hereby authorized and
directed to pay the same forthwith. Funding for the total project cost of $344,275 is from
the Sewer Fund.
