MINUNS OF ANRM MEETING OF THE HOUSING
fAND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF PLYMOUTH, mnaMSOTA
January 2.5, 1982
Time annual meeting of the housing and Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth,
Minnesota was held on the 25th day of. January, 1982 at 6:40 p.m. at the City
Oouncil Chambers in the City of Plymouth, Minnesota. Time following bers of
the Authority were present: Chairman Hillstrom, Commissioners Hoyt, and
Mils.
OomRmmissioners Bakke and Erickson were absent.
There were also present the: following members of the City staff: Executive
Director Willis, Associate Planner Dale, and City Clerk Houk.
It was moved by Commissioner Hoyt, seconded by Commissioner Neils, to approve
the minutes of the January 11, 1982.special meeting as submitted.
Motion carried, three ayes.
NOMINATICN AND APPOINIM W OF OFFICES
Motion was made by Commissioner Hoyt, seconded by Commissioner Neils, to
appoint Commissioner Bakke as vice Chair for 1982. i
Motion carried, three ayes.
Motion was .made by Commissioner Hoyt, seconded by Chairman Hillstrom, to
appoint Oommmissioner Neils as Secretary/'I'reasurer for 1982.
Motion carried, three ayes.
TERMINATION OF SECTION 8 REVIV S
Executive Director Willis stated that four separate reports have been provided
for the Oomsission's review on the four individuals being considered for
removal from the Sect -.on 8 program in Plymouth. The individuals will be noti-
fied by mail tomorrow of whatever action the Oommmission takes.
Notion was made by Oosmissioner Hoyt, seconded by Oommmissioner Neils, that
certificate holder #7F2 be retained on the Section 8 program in Plymouth.
Notion carried, three ayes.
Motion was made by Oommissioner Hoyt, seconded by Comnissionet Neils, that
certificate holder #17F2 be terminated from the Section 8 programs in Plymouth.
Notion carried, three ayes.

Notion was made by Ommissioner Hoyt, seconded by omymissioner Neils, that
certificate holder $37F'2 be terminated from the Section 8 program in Plymouth.
Notion carried, three ayes.
Notion was made by Camnissioner Neils, seconded by Co missioner Hoyt, that
certificate holder 447F2 be terminated from the Section 8 program in Plymouth.
Motion carried, three ayes.
IN HATION ITEMS
A progress report on the elderly housing site acquisition process was sub-
mitted for the Ominission's review. No action was taken.
The matter of preference being given to women coming fram battered women's
shelters in obtaining a certificate for Section 8 rent assistance was dis-
cussed.
The HRA staff has put together a Plymouth HRA Newsletter to keep tenants and
apartment owners informed as to what is going on in the area of rent assis-
tance in the City.
Notion was made by 0omnissioner Neils, seconded by Oonmissioner Hoyt, that the
Newsletter be published on a quarterly basis.
Motion carried, three ayes.
Associate Planner Dale showed slides of homes in Plymouth which had been reha-
bilitated with HRA funds. Slides were also shoran of a Section 8 townhouse
development project.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
