Special Council Meeting
May 17, 2016
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 6:02 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Room of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on May 17, 2016.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Beard, Carroll, Johnson, Prom, Willis
and Wosje.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister, Administrative Services Director Fischer, Public
Safety Director Goldstein, Fire Chief Coppa,Assistant Fire Chief Dreelan,Assistant Fire Chief
Nordby, Deputy Police Chief Plekkenpol, Police Captain Swiatkiewicz, Police Captain Johnson,
Police Captain Reed, Human Resources Manager Kone, Police Administrative Manager Ward,
and Public Safety Analyst Gilbert.
Public Safety - Fire Department Update
Public Safety staff provided the Council with an update on the fire department.
The Council requested staff provide additional fire data and also requested time to review all of
the information presented. An additional study session will be scheduled at a later date, once the
Council has had time to review all of the information.
Adjournment
Mayor Slavik adjourned the meeting at 8:56 p.m.
