C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-170
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING N AME FOR
N EIGHBORHOOD P ARK AS C ROOKED C REEK P ARK
WHEREAS, the City has acquired parkland at 4255 Walnut Grove Lane No; and
WHEREAS, the neighborhood park property will serve the developments of Cedar Hollow,
Schmidt’s Gardens, Arbor Grove, Copper Creek and Summers Edge; and
WHEREAS, the site characteristics include a hill with a flat green area on top overlooking a creek,
forest and wetland; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission reviewed name options for this park
and recommended the name Crooked Creek Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the park at 4255 Walnut Grove Lane is hereby named Crooked Creek Park.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of May, 2016.
