R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-162
R ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A T RANSIT S ERVICES
R EQUEST FOR P ROPOSALS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth provides fixed route and dial-a-ride transit services through the
Plymouth Metrolink; and
WHEREAS, the transit services are staffed and the fleet is maintained through an agreement with a
transit provider; and
WHEREAS, the current agreement expires this year; and
WHEREAS, the community’s operational and service level needs have evolved since the last contracting
period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the 2016 Transit Services Request for Proposals is authorized.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 10th day of May, 2016.
