RESOLUTION 94 -639
AUTHORIZING REALLOCATION OF FISCAL YEAR 1994 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been informed that the Hennepin Technical College
0170) will be unable to expend its 1994 CDBG allocation of $61,00 in a timely fashion, and
such funds can be expended for the City's First Time Homebuyer Loan and Development
activities; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Park and Recreation Department has requested the allocation of
10,00 available from the 1994 CDBG Contingency Fund for additional funding for
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements at City parks; and, -
WHEREAS, on September 28, 1994, the Plymouth HRA held a duly constituted public
hearing to allow interested patties to express their opinion on these reallocations; and,
WMEREAS, the HRA of the City of Plymouth has m-Amed staff teoommendations and public
comments and has determined the following to be an appropriate use of CDBG funds in
accordance with federal guidelines; and,
NOW, THERIWORE, BB IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Fiscai. Year 1994 CDBG funds of $61,00 be
reallocated from the RTC activity to the First Time Homebuyer Loan and Development
activity and funds of $10,000 be reallocated from the Contingency Fund to the Park and
Recreation Department's ADA improvements activity.
