RECOMMENDING REALLOCATION OF FISCAL YEAR 1994 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS
WHEREAS, the CDBG eligible expenses for the South Shore Park project have been
determined to be $17,853.78 in excess of the amount currently specified in the CDBG budgets;
and,
WHEREAS, additional CDBG eligible expenses of $7,100 for accessibility projects at
Plymouth Creek and Parker's Lake parks have been identified by the City's Park and
Recreation Department; and,
W MRBAS, unexpended funding authority is available within the HRA's CDBG Budget, Fund
232, for reallocation to the aforementioned projects; and,
WHEMAS, the total amount to be reallocated, $24,953.78, does not constitute a significant
change in the CDBG Budget and therefore does not require a public hearing prior to approval;
and,
WHEREAS, the HRA in and for the City of Plymouth has re:•iewed staff recommendations
and has determined the aforementioned expenditures to be an appropriate use of CDBG funds
in accordance with federal guidelines;
NOW, 'FORE, BE IT iiE1WBY RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it
recommends to the Plymouth City Council that the Fiscal Year 1994 CDBG Budget, Fund
232, be amended to reflect the reallocation of program expenditures, including $82,000 from
prior year CDBG funding, as follows:
