HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 93-13HRA RESOLUTION 93-13 RESOLUTION RECONIIMENDLNG INCREASE IN THE DAY CARE ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLACK GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Greater Minneapolis Day Care Association (GMDCA) has petitioned the Plymouth Housing and, Authority (ARA) to reconsider its Fiscal Year 1993 Community Development Block Grain (CDBG) allocation of $11,000 to the Child Care Assistance program administered by GMDCA based on GMDCA's concern that this amount is inadequate to NO day cane assistance payments for present clients through 1993; and, WLMREAS, the Plymouth HILA does not wish to have GMDCA clients living in Plymouth forced off the child care assistance program due to lack of funding; NOW, TiIBRHFORB, BE IT IMMMY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELAPMEff AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Plymouth HRA recommends that the Mymouth City Council increase the Child Care Assistance allocation for Fiscal Year 1993 from $11,000 to $21,000 and further, that the increased amount be reallocated from the Early Childhood Education activity for the same year.
