HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 93-300CITY OF PLYMOUTH RffiOLWTION 93300 RffiOLunoN OF CONCURRENCE wrm THD TNyuAnON REQUBSMNG THEE ASSISTANCE TO THE HB MEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY PROVIDPROGRAM wi ERM, the Hennepin Couuty Housing and Redevelopment Authosty (HRA) has adopted a financing program known as the Community Providers Program ('Program') designed to provide fioancral assistance to quah&A providers of community services under C011111"to Hennepin County by making available low-cost loans from a Community Providers Program Common Bond Fuad for the following purposes related to phyte ph& and facilities: 1. Refinancing of existing debt; 2. Funds for acquisition of facilities for county authorized new or expansion programs; 3. Acquisition of facilities currently being leased by the qualified service provider, or 4. Acquisition of facilities to replace leased facilities. gIHEREAS, Hammer ResidenceInc. ("Service Provider') is a provider of community services under contract with Hennepin County with facilities looted in the City of Plymouth; and WMt,W, the Service provider may wish to patticipate in the Program; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 383.B.77, Sub. 2, requires invitation to the HennepinCountyHRAfromCityofPlymouth's HRA before the Hennepin County HRA can exercise its powers within this City; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth's HRA bas extended such an invitation to the HennepinCountyHRAtoenableittoproceedwiththeCommunityprovidersPrograminthisCity. i ORB, BB rr HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE Crry COUNCIL OF THE C1TY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: The Plymouth City Council finds the implementation of the Community Providers Program bytheHennepinCountyHRAtobeproperandinthepublicinterestandherebyconcurswiththe Plymouth HRA's invitation to the Hennepin County HRA to provide the technical suits= to Hammer Residence, Tru;. for participation in the Community Providers Program.
