RESOLUTION RECOMIVIH iNDING THE CHANGE OF INCOME LtMM FOR THE
CITY'S HOUSING REHABRHATION GRANT/LOAN PROGRAM
WHEREAS, existing income limits for Plymouth's Housing Rehabilitation Grant/Loan
Program are maintained at 50% of median income for the Twin Cities area; and,
VAREREAS, the new income limits at 50% of median income are less than the existing limits;
and,
SEAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development does allow communities to
use their Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to assist families with incomes
up to 80% of median income; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority recognizes that homeowners
with incomes between 50% to 80% of median income also find it financially diffmlt to pay
for major house repairs/improvements;
NOW, THBRI ORB, BE IT ill EBY RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPNMNT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that
the Housing Authority recommends that the Plymouth City Council adopt income limits for the
City's Housing Rehabilitation Grant/Loan Program based on 60% of Twin Cities area median
income effective June 1, 1993.
