RESOLUTION 93-243
FORMATION OF A 501C3 NONPROFIT CORPORATION FOR THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING ALLIANCE.
WHEREAS, The Plymouth City Council, wishes to encourage the development of
more affordable housing in the City; and,
WHEREAS, private developers acting as volunteers under the title of the
Plymouth Housing Alliance, would like to involve more citizen volunteers in
the construction of one house for 1993 and to provide additional affordable
housing in the future; and,
WHEREAS. the Plymouth City Council endorses and approves the efforts of the
Plymouth Housing Alliance to develop more affordable housing in the City of
Plymouth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it directs the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
to file for 501c3 nonprofit tax status for the formation of a nonprofit
organization under the title of the Plymouth Housing Alliance.
Adopted by the City Council of May 3, 1993.
