AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FINAL STATEMENT TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR
INCLUSION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRAN' (CDBG) FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1993
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is required to provide the Department of Housing and
Urban Development an application for the Community Development Block Grant Program,
including appropriate citizen participation, goal establishment and implementation plans and
procedures; and.
WHEREAS, on October 27, 1992, December 15, 1992 and February 16, 1993, the Plymouth
Housing and Redevelopment Authority held duly constituted public hearings to allow interested
parties to express their opinion; and,
WHERI S, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority regarding the proposed activities and program amount for Fiscal
Year 1993;
NOW, TOREFORE, BE IT HBIMY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CM OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct the City
Manager to submit the application and Final Statement for the participation in the Fiscal Year
1993 Housing and community Development Block Grant Program for the following projects in
the respoctive proposed dollar amount:
1. Rehabilitation Private Dwellings
a. Administration of Activity $ 7,000
b. Gmnts/loans to homeowners S63.

2. Child Can Assistance
a. Administration of Activity $ 1,000
b. Child Care Assistance S 11.000 .
Subtotal $12,000
3. Early Childhood Education
a. Administration of Activity $ 3,800
b. Capital Funding S25

4. Scathed Site Homeowaeisbip
a. Administration of Activity $ 12,000
b. Grant/loans to First Time Homebuyers S10g.000
