RESOLUTION APPOINTING ARVID ELNESS AS ARCHITECT FOR TEES SENIOR
HOUSING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth
directed Wallwr Development, Inc. to provide several architectural firms with a. Request for
Proposal to plan and design a 100 unit senior housing project at the northeast corse: of
Plymouth Boulevard and 37th Avenue North; and,
WHEREAS, the responding firms were interviewed by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority at a special meeting on December 23, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, the firm of Arvid Elness Architects, Inc. was selected by the Housing and
RedeveloIe Authority to be the most qualified and experienced in the area of senior
housing among the firms interviewed;
NOW, 1HMRMRE, BE IT iMi>II;Y RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITI' OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that
the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority and the firm of Arvid Share Architects,
Inc. enter into a contract on Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Architect for
the basic fixed fee of $190,000 plus an additional 3.8 percent of construction costs in excess of
5,000,000.
FURTHER, should the project program be substantially reduced, the fixed fee will be
renegotiated to reflect the revised scope of service by the architect.
