Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sgQular meeting of the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota., was
held on the 21st day of December_., 19$1. The following members were
present: Chairman Neils. Comisci_onprs Guttman and Palmer
The following members were absenf-r Coninissioners Crain and Ludovissie
Commissioner Gutzman introduced the following Resolution and
proved its adoption:
HRA RESOLUTION 89-08
RECOGNITION OF GERALD H. NEILS FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH AS A MEMBER OF THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Gerald H. Neils was first appointed to the Plymouth Housing and
Redevelopment Authority on December 15, 1975, and subsequently reappointed to
twoo additional five-year terms having served continuously since that
appointment; and,
WHEREAS, Gerald H. Neils served as Chairperson of the Authority for three
years from January 1987 through January 1990; and,
WHEREAS, Gerald H. Neils' exceptional leadership and volunteer efforts have
positively affected the lives of many Plymouth citizens by providing
affordable housing; and,
WHEREAS, his outstanding public service has helped to promote the improvement
and advancement of the City of Plymouth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Gerald H. Neils is hereby
recognized for his outstanding service to the City of Plymouth as a member of
the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing. Resolution was duly seconded
by Commissioner Palmer , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: 2-0
The following voted against or abstained Chairman Neils
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
