Commissioner Craig introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 89-02
RECOMMENDING ALLOCATION OF YEAR XV COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth Jor Year XV will be in receipt of approximately
133,854 of Community Development Block Grant funds; and,
WHEREAS, on March 23, 1989 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority
held a duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express
their opinion; and,
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth
discussed ways the Community Development Block Grant funds could he utilized
in accordance with federal guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Plymouth that the Planning Area Citizen Advisory
Committee and the Plymouth City Council be recommended to allocate the Year XV
Community Development Block Grant funds as follows:
Rehabilitation of Private Dwellings $ 80,000
Childcare Assistance Payments 25,000
Scattered Site Home Ownership 23,854
Northwest Hennepin Human Services 5"000
TOTAL $133,854
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that up to $10,000 of the rehabilitation funds be used
for acquisition and implementation of data processing equipment. and software
to be used in the administration and management of housing and related
programs.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Commissioner Gutzman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in. favor thereof: _ Chairman Neils. Commissioners Crain.
The following voted against or abstained None ,
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
