HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 87-05HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth., M nnesota was held on the 13th day of Octoberg 1987 0 The following members were present: Chairman Neils, Commissioners Crain, Gutzman and Ludovissie The following members were absent: w stoner Hillstrom Commissioner Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: HRA RESOLUTION NO. 87-05 RECOMMENDLT CREATION OF A NEW YEAR XIII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM ACTIVITY WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth for Year XIII has not allocated any of its Community Development Block Grant funds to assist in the planning and development of the Downtown Senior Housing Site; and, WHEREAS, on October 139 1987 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a duly constituted public hearing to consider establishing this activity; and, WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth discussed, ways the Community Development Block Grant funds could be utilized in accordance with federal guidelines; and, expressed the need for the City to have funds available in 1987 and 1988 to assist in the planning and development of the Downtown Senior Housing site; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the .yousing and Redevelopmert Authority of the City of Plymouth that It should and hereby d,)es recommend to Plymouth City Council to create a new Year XIII Community Development Block Grant Program activity, "Planning and Development of Downtown Senior Housing Site". FURTHER, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT $15,000.00 be reallocated from the program activity, Rehabilitation of Private Property" (Program Activity No. 23081) to this new activity. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Ludovissie and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted IIS favor thereof: Chairman Neils, Commissioner Crain, Gutzman and Ludovissie The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared dulypassed and adopted. is
