HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 87-02HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CITY OF PLYMOUTH SPursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of March 1987. The following members were present: Chairman Neils Commissioners Crain, Hillstrom, Ludovissie and. Gutzman The following members were absent: None Commissioner Hillstrom introduced the following Resolution and. moved Its adoption: NRA RESOLUTION NO. 87-02 RECOMMENDING ALLOCATION OF YEAR XIII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth for Year XIII will be in receipt of approximately 129,028 of Community Development Block Grant funds to utilize in such a way as to assist low and moderate income persons; and, WKEREAS, on March 129 1987 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express their opinions; and, WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth discussed ways the Community Development Block Grant funds could be utilized in accordance with federal guidelines; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth that the Planning Area Citizen Advisory Committee and the Plymouth City Council be recommended to allocate the Year XIII Community Development Bleck Grant funds as follows: Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program $80,000.00 Childcare Assistance Payment urogram 20,000.00 Mission Farms Nursing Homes 99000.00 Mission. Farms Rehabilitation Planning 20,028.00 Total $1290028.00 FURTHER, be it resolved that the combined grant funds for the Union City Mission for long range planning be for the entire Union City Mission property and uses with special consideration to the preservaticn and alternitive uses of the "old chapel" building. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Ludovissie, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Commissioners Neils, Crain, Hillstrom, Ludovissie and Gutzman The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
