HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 85-03HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Cm OF PL1MM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held Qn the 6th day of Nay, 1985 The following members were present: Commissioners Erickson Gerry Neils and Pat Neils e following rs here absent: CO=13s1oner3 Ullstrow Cowdssioner Gerry Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its Mwilon: HRA RESOLUTION NO. 85 - 03 DIRECTING STAFF TO PURCHASE AND RELOCATE HOUSES AT 13304 ARTHUR STREET AND 250 COUNTY ROAD 61, M.INNETONKA 10 LOTS 2 AND 3, GLACIER MEADOWS WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has initiated a Scattered Site Acquisition and Single Family Home Rehabilitation Program to assist moderate Income larger families to purchase affordable homes in Plymouth; and, WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority directed staff to purchase property for the development of single family owner occupied homes; and, WHEREAS, this property has been purchased and has been platted as "Glacier Meadows": and, WHEREAS, the City of Fgymouth is willing to sell the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority two houses currently located at 13304 Arthur Street and 250 County Road 61, Minnetonka that must be relocated due to the construction of CASH 611 NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority that it direct ,staff to undertake the following: 1. Purchase the hour --s currently located at 13304 Authur Street and 250 County Road 61, Minnetonka, with the cost not to exceed $19,000.00. 2. Relocate said houses to Lots 2 and 3, "Glacier Meadows" with the cost not to exceed S18,000.00. 3. Prepare Lots 2 and 3, "Glacier Meadows" by the excavation and construction of a basements and/or foundations, with such work not to exceed $30,000. 4. Make such necessary and squired .improvements and modifications to the houses to bring them up to applicable Codes, with such work not to exceed $40,000. 5. Make necessary landscaping and driveway improvements on Lots 2 and 3 with such work not to exceed $20,000.
