Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plywouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of
April, 1985. The following members were present: Chairman Del Erickson and
Commissioners Rod Hillstrom, Cerry Neils and Pat Neils. The following members were
Commissioner Cerry Meils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
HRA RESOLUTION NO. 85-1
RECOMMENDING ALLOCATION OF YEAR XI COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth for Year XI will be in receipt of approximately $148,055
of Community Development Block Grant funds to utilize in such a way as to assist low
and moderate income persons; and,
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1985 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a duly
constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express their opinions; and,
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth discussed wa,s
the Community Development Block Grant funds could be utilized in accordance with
Sfederal
guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the
City of Plymouth that the Planning Area Citizen Advisory Committee and the Plymouth
City Council be recommended to allocate the Year XI Community Development Block Grant
funds as follows:
Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program $80,000.00
Scattered Site Homeownership Program 40,000.00
Senior Citizen Housing 59000.00
Childcare Assistance Payment Program 16,500.00
Related Planning Activities 6,.555.00
148,055.00
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Rod
Hillstrom , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:_
Del Erickson,Had Hillstrow,, Gerry Neils and Pat Neils
The following voted against nr abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
