Commissioner C. Neils introduced the following Resolution and ma. ed its

RESOLUTION NO. 84-06
RECOMMENDING THE PURCHASE OF A PORTION OF PARCEL 28-118-22-44-0002 FOR SCATTERED SITE
HOUSING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has initiated a Scattered
Site Acquisition and Single Family Home Rehabilitation Program to assist moderate
Income larger families to purchase affordable homes in Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has considered available
property between Glacier Lane and future Fernbrook Lane south of CSAH 6 as a feasible
location to develop three single family homes; and
WHEREAS, the Plypouth City Council on March 12, 1984 directed that the Plymouth
Fusing and ReAevelopment Authority hold a public informational meeting for
neighboring s:!zpparty owners; and
WHEREAS, tf, !musing and Redevelopment Authority held the informational meeting on

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY that it should and hereby does recommend to the Plymouth City Council the
purchase of that portion of parcel 28-118-22-44-0002 not needed for street ROW
purposes for the Scattered Site Housing Program and the development of three single
family homes, with funding available through the Community Development Block Grant.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Commissioner P. Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, te
