R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-130
R ESOLUTION FOR H EARING ON P ROPOSED A SSESSMENT FOR THE
2016 P UBLIC W ORKS M ILL AND O VERLAY P ROJECT P HASE II (16019)
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April, 26, 2016, the City Clerk was directed
to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvement located in the following locations.
The streets southeast of Northwest Boulevard and southwest of West Medicine Lake Drive including
31st and 32nd Avenues and Pineview and Quinwood Lanes in the subdivision known as Heritage Ridge
Plat Two, by edge mill and overlay of bituminous pavement , and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 24th day of May, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass
upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property
affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to
be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall
state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The City Clerk shall also cause mailed
notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two
weeks prior to the hearing.
