R ESOLUTION N O. 2016-126
R ESOLUTION A WARDING THE C ONTRACT FOR THE
P HASE 2 F LASHING Y ELLOW A RROW S IGNAL P ROJECT (15008)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Phase 2 Flashing Yellow Arrow Signal
Project in the City of Plymouth, City Project 15008, bids were received, opened and tabulated according
to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and
WHEREAS, Killmer Electric Company, Inc., Crystal, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum qualifications, in the amount of $357,760; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Killmer Electric Company, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with Killmer Electric Company, Inc. of Crystal, MN in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the Phase 2 Flashing Yellow Arrow Signal Project in the City of Plymouth according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Engineer in the amount of $357,760.
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that funding for this project will be from the Street Reconstruction Fund
(General Fund Reserves) for $692,665 and Construction Improvement Fund (CON 413) for $1,000,000 as
approved by the City Council in 2014.
