F'UYDS AS WELL AS AUTHOREUNG THE EXECUTWE DHtECTOR TO SUBMIT AN APPL.LCATION TO TLLE RUNNESOTA HOUSING i7NANCE AGENCY FOR COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION FUNDS FOR AFFORDABLLUTY GAP ASSISTANCE AT HARVEST HULLS WHEREAS. the Plymouth Housing and Rede clop neeut Authority (HRA) has identified a need to increase the availability of affordable homeownership opportunities to assist low and mudeeate inoonse households purchase housing in the City; and WHEREAS. the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and Town and Country Homes have agreed to provide affordable homeownership opportunities in the Harvest Hills townhouse development; and WHEREAS. the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has funds available in its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation and its HRA General Fund; and WHEREAS. the Minnesota Housing Finanaea Agency (MHFA) is now accepting applications for the Community Revitalization Fund which can be used to assist in making these homes more affordable to low- and moderate-ineome fust time homebuyers through. afferdebility gap assistance; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MII4MMA that it hereby commits 540.000 from its CDBG allocation and $85,000 from HRA General Funds for affordability gap assists mce at Harvest Hills; and.
