6: A Note from Melody
August is here and August always brings National Night Out. This is a night
of fun for us because we always have a picnic or bar -b -q and fun. National
Night " t is really all about neighbors helping and keeping watch over their
neighborhoods. We all do a very good job of that herd at Plymouth: Towne
Square. Don't forget though that the Police and Fire Department are here to
help you ..... that is their job. If you ever see anything suspicious in our
parking lot or around the building, please call the 911. If you would rather,
youcan always call the non -emergency number 535-6210. Let's all continue
to work together to keep your home safe.
4.41.r
As many of you are aware, the downtown area of Plymouth (where you five)
is becoming more populated. Growing populations often bring more crime.
In the recent Plymouth Police reports that I have received, there are numerous
car break-ins all over the Plymouth area, but especially in the parking lots
that are close to our building. 1 am not by any means trying to scare you, I
just want to make you aware of what is happening around us. To have good
security we must all stay alert. You are our best security. When entering or
leaving the garage it is very important to watch the garage door close so that
no on slips into our garage. An open garage door is a wonderful opportunity
for anyone who wants to slip under the door and have access to all of the cars
in the garage and also the whole building.
What should you do if you see someone enter the -building who does not
belong here? If the office is open, drive to the front of the building and
notify the office staff. If the office is closed, then simply drive to the other
door, open it and go to the police station and let them know what you saw.
Please help us keep your home safe.
I would like to introduce you to a new employee, Ben Olson. Ben is the Moth of
Brent, our full -trona caretaker. Ben and Brent will be sharing the responsibilities of
the CaretakedMaintenance position. Below you will find a short biography hom him
Please say hi to Ben and welcome him into our family.

If you've watched the news lately, you may have seen the reports about
how long airplane trips cause blood dots. "it isn't the airplane that causes
the blood dots," It is the sitting in one position for a long period of time that
is the risk factor.
Blood dots are a common, natural process where blood thickens and forams
a dot of blood cells and fibrin strands to stop the bleeding when a blood
vessel is injured. If the body didn't have the ability to dot, people would
bleed to death even after a minor cut.
But sometimes blood dots form when and where they aren't needed - in
veins where blood merely slows down or becomes sluggish. The most
common place for these dots is in the deep veins of the legs, but also less
commonly in the heart's chambers or in the blood vessels of the arms,
groin, pelvis or other parts of the body. Clots become very dangerous when
they break free and move to the lung or heart.
Symptoms of a clot in the arms or legs are sudden pain, swelling, heat and
tenderness in the area. If the dot is in the lungs, it causes chest pain,
shortness of breath, low grade fever or a rapid heart rate. If you're on a long
plan ride or in any situation where movement is restricted, it is best to get up
and move whenever you can to get your blood circulating.

There is a tan "Forecaster" women's coat hanging, size 9/10, in. the
dining room. DO YOU KNOW THE OWNER? Does it belong to a
family member? It was left here sometime around June 2e.
You should never throw glass down thee trash chute.
Elderly women who exercise regularly are less prone to suffer mental
decline. For every mile per day women walk, they lower their risk of
mental decline by 13%.
You need to keep your apartment doors closed to the hallway.

Selection Committee members will be to provide input and feedback to the Board, so
they have a complete perspective of the qualities residents' desire in a management
company. I would like to remind you that your role is as an advisor, you will not be
voting on each application, however your input will be taken into account in the overall
selection process.
We would like to express our thanks for your assistance in providing feedback from a
resident perspective as we go through the process of continuing to make Plymouth
Towne Square the premiere senior housing facility in the City. Please feel free to contact
me if you have any questions. 1 can be reached at (763) 509-5412.
