ESOLUTION WARDING THE ONTRACT

FOR THE ATER ETER EPLACEMENT ROJECT

WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2016 Water Meter Replacement
Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears Badger Meter, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI. is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into contract for the bid with Badger Meter, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI. in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the 2016 Water Meter Replacement according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of
$5,146,906.17.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the funding for this project shall be from the Water
and Sewer Replacement Fund (412).
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of January, 2016.
