HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2010-285CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2010-285 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A CHANGE ORDER FOR ADDITIONAL PROJECTS TO USE THE REMAINING STIMULUS GRANTAND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH THE PROJECETS RELATED TO THE CITY'S ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT AWARD. (2009020) WHEREAS, on June 25, 2009, the City of Plymouth submitted a grant application for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program; WHEREAS, on September 21, 2009, the City of Plymouth was awarded an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant in the amount of $707,200; WHEREAS, on January 12, 2010, the City Council accepted an energy conservation report and recommended projects and authorized staff to proceed with preparation of an RFP to hire a consultant for final design, project management, bidding of improvements, monitoring and reporting; WHEREAS, on March 23, 2010, the City Council accepted the results of the RFP to hire a consultant and authorized staff to execute a guaranteed energy savings agreement with McKinstry for the completion of projects; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, accepts the change order and authorizes staff to complete the projects to spend the remaining $44,962 of the city's energy efficiency and conservation block grant award.
